Hello Kym,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm not sure if I have GOODALL connections in S.A. So far I've only been able to find them first in Yass N.S.W. ie, the 1855 marriage of my 2nd great grandparents John GOODALL and Annie Maria CLARK(E) aka WEAVER, then their move to Avenel Vic where they had their sons. One son being Albert Augustus Frederick GOODALL who married Mary Jane DILWORTH, my great grandparents: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=ggoodall&id=I175http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=ggoodall&id=I175
I think that John GOODALL was from Victoria and went over the border to N.S.W. As for his origins, supposedly it was "Tom from Lancashire England", but so far I can't find any evidence of that, only John's daughter-in-law's DILWORTH line.
My late father used to say that we were related to many or most GOODALL'S in Victoria, however I can't find evidence of that either. Though I am seeing possible connections in fellow family researchers trees, who have GOODALL'S coming from seemingly Ireland then to Tasmania then to Victoria.
Kym, please keep in touch, regards, Glenda Goodall
