John Gooch, Jr. married Frances "Fanny" Burton in 1810. She was the sister of Mary "Polly" Burton who married Samuel Cothran. John, Jr. died in 1819 leaving two children, John Allen Gooch and Martha Ann Gooch. According to the probate of her grandmother's estate, Martha married first David Gooch and then J. Dixon. Her children are named as; Mary who married David Dixon, William, Robert, Elizabeth and Carolina but does not identify which father each belongs to. I'll see what else I can find in my records. Rick, Daniel has a lot of information on the Gooch families.
