I am looking for the parents of Joseph Franklin Gooch said to be of Manassas West Virginia b: in 1846. His father listed one place as William Gooch, mother as Evaline unkown.
Joseph moved to Illinois and was in the Illinois Volunteer Cavalry, civil war. He then moved to Sumner County, Kansas by 1875. He married Willa Mina Clarke. He died after 1922. Any help would be great.
