1850 Division 28, Lee Iowa.
I found Dabney Gouch age 34, est birth 1816, birth place Virginia, along with
wife Jane or Janie, Birth 1816, age 34,
Robert D. Gouch age 9 born VA 1841
Samel Gouch son age 5, born VA 1845
Philo Fairbrother born 1835 Ohio just living with the family.
This is the same family who moved to Louisanna after the Civil War. I believe this is the Dabney Gooch who married Jane Sangster 15 Oct 1840 in Amherst, Va. I had searched for a long time, but missed the spelling.
Perhaps this will help another searcher.
