I am from Higueras, My family on my father’s side is from Higueras. I just spent my R& R leave from Iraq there. I go back as often as I can. I would also like to find out more about my family back ground, but I have not had the time. You can email FRANSICO VILLAREAL @(higueras54@hotmail.com) he is very knowledgeable on Higueras, but do so in Spanish.
Sorry if I could not be any more help. Higueras is a small town. Everyone knows each other or at least people that have roots there. We are probably related. My wife is also Martinez from Higureas, and no we are not related. take care.
