Hi, This is just too great and too many interesting facts to take in. I have a lot more about Miguel himself. I'm working on my scanner right now. Once I get that going I can send you jpg's of all this data. For me it would be easier to email since I don't have a fax. I'm just hoping that my father would approve since these are family stories and may not all be 100% accurate. My father describes all 7 children of Miguel in a short paragraph each. One of them is Cruz who happens to be the "black sheep" in the family. He has an interesting story too. I will get back to this this evening and possibly go buy a scanner, this is a good excuse to get another since mine is really not working very well. I can't wait to hear more about your book, I also am interested in finding out whether there was any of your ancesters were named after your uncle Anselmo, my GGrandfather, since I'm in contact with a decendent of another Anselmo Gonzales in Colorado, who I feel might be tied to our family. I'm decended from Miguel by his son Anselmo brother of Andrea, his daughter is Gumecinda II named after her grandmother, Gumecinda is my father's mother. My father's name is Carlos Gomez. My name is Anita Gomez. I live in Anchorage now, both of my parents were hispanic and born in Las Vegas, New Mexico. I have my family tree on Ancestry.com and will invite you.
