Larry,
More Gunnoudes? The Patrick, age 45 in the 1880 census, would have a birth date in 1835. My Patrick, who married Mary Keller, would have been 27 in 1880.
Which leads me to wonder how the older Patrick fits in?? It is begining to appear that there was an onslaught of Gunnoudes into the CB area.
Another question, the Patrick you found as a clerk in Albany, boarding w/ our other Gunnoudes- could he be this elder Patrick b. in 1835? Sarah and Willie are both new names for me, as is this Patrick.
IF this elder Patrick lived past 1906, and stayed in IA, a death certificate would yield his parent's names, but would still not reveal his realtionship to Michael, John and the younger Patrick.
Thanks for checking the antique shop! I have found phone numbers for some of the Walnut, IA shops and will give them a call.
I have another Gunnoude family member that I will try to get ahold of. The one thing I don't have from him is a family line- which I would like to take a look at. I believe he lives in England, as he refers to his mother as "Mum", and noted a trip to Ireland was not very far.
This new Patrick has made me quite curious- I know he is not in my direct line, but he is of course somewhere in our family.
Regards,
Laura
