Barbara - my wife is part of the Gommo Clan!! and we are just waiting for info from the Bristol Records Office (it is costing me a fourtune!!) on the ships which Edward Gommo (1832), Edward J Gommo(1861), and John Boulter Gommo (1867) sailed on out of Bristol. One of them was drowned off the Cameroons - we think it was Edward J but as yet not been able to track it down.We also have a link with St Austell in Cornwal but still checking. Some of this has come from Pauline's Cousin who lives in Zimbabwe (we have difficulty in contacting her) and some old diaries which her Aunt left in Bristol. Any other info between Bristol and St Austell would be useful.
Thanks Roger Bowring
