I am trying to assist my step-sister in preparing her lineage.
Her father's parents were Emiliano Gomez and Maria Luisa Irizarry.
Emiliano was born about 1902 in Puerto Rico, and his parents were Juan Gomez y Lugo and Luisa Lopez y Velez.
Maria appears to have been born about 1907/08 and from what I have been told, her parents were Jose Irizarry and DeSanta (?) Ortiz.
The family is supposed to be from either or both San German and Cabo Rojo.
Emiliano came to NY about 1922, while Maria came about 1925. They married about 1926, and had a daughter Louisa abt 1928 and son Emil in 1934. (not sure if there are other children of this marriage.
Any help?
