My grandmother was Lula Jane GOLLIHAR, b. 27 July 1893 in Clyde, Calahan County, Texas. She died 20 April 1979 in Tulia, Swisher County, Texas. On 19 June 1910, in Sweetwater, Texas, she married my grandfather, Joseph Clinton HENDERSON.
Below is the lineage that I have at this time for the GOLLIHAR family. I hope this will assist others in their research of this family. I appreciate any additions or corrections.
First Generation

1. Charles GOLLIHAR. Born in 1764 in Kentucky. Charles died bef 1837; he was 73.
On 7 Dec 1790 when Charles was 26, he married Nancy BUNTON, daughter of James William BUNTON (1744-1779) & Mary BYERS (1745-1800), in Mercer County, Kentucky. Born bef 1765 in Mercer County, Kentucky. Nancy died bef 1837; she was 72.
They had one child:

Family of Charles GOLLIHAR (1) & Nancy BUNTON
2. Charles GOLLIHAR (Charles1). Born in 1794 in Kentucky. Charles died in 1850-1886; he was 56. Occupation: Farmer.
Charles was said to have been killed by Indians on the Colorado River, near Wolf Crossing in Texas, just before the Pack Saddle Mountain fight, 5 Aug 1873. He was on horseback, alone and the Indians shot arrows into his back. He kept riding, but died soon after reaching home.

Charles first married ?. Born in 1791. died in Clark County, Arkansas, bef 1831; she was 40.
They had the following children:
i. Thomas. Born in 1821.

iii. Andrew. Born in 1826.
On 17 Apr 1831 when Charles was 37, he second married Margaret “Peggy” (Marijot) HUFFMAN, in Clark County, Arkansas. Born on 25 Apr 1808 in Adams County, Illinois. Margaret “Peggy” (Marijot) died in Clark County, Arkansas, ca 1850; she was 41.

3. William GOLLIHAR (Charles2, Charles1). Born in 1824 in Terre Noire, Clark County, Arkansas. William died in 1866; he was 42.1
Bef 1846 when William was 22, he first married Elizabeth CARTER, in Louisiana.
Aft 1850 when William was 26, he second married Nancy. Born in 1834 in Arkansas.
They had the following children:
i. Mary Joséphine. Born on 23 Jan 1853 in Clark County, Arkansas. Mary Joséphine died in Cottle, Texas, on 14 Jan 1922; she was 68.
ii. John H. Born in 1855.
4 iii. James T. (1855-)
iv. Frances A. Born in 1859.
v. Emily J. Born in 1864.

1860 US census lists James T. GOLLIHAR residing in the household of his parents, William & Nancy GOLLIHAR in the township of Terre Noir, Clark County, Arkansas.
1870 US census: Residing in household of his mother in Dallas, TX.
1900 US census: Living in Shackleford, TX with wife Eloise H. and their children.
The 1920 US census for Hamlin, Jones County, Texas, lists James T. GOLLIHAR as a restaurant proprietor.
In 1882 when James T. was 26, he married Eloise (Ella) H.. Born in Dec 1856 in Texas.
They had the following children:
i. Martín L. Born in Dec 1883.
ii. Marvin R. Born in Jan 1885.
iii. Henry Winfred. Born in Jul 1886.
iv. Arthur N. Born in Nov 1887.
v. Lillie Rose. Born in May 1891.
5 vi. Lula Jane (1893-1979)

On 19 Jun 1910 when Lula Jane was 16, she married Joseph (Joe) Clinton HENDERSON2, son of Robert Nelson HENDERSON (28 Mar 1847-6 Nov 1908) & Sarah Catherine ABSHIRE (18 Sep 1861-12 Jun 1928), in Sweetwater, Texas. Born on 9 Apr 1884 in Rochelle, Calahan County, Texas. Joseph (Joe) Clinton died in Portales, New Mexico., on 27 Jan 1957; he was 72. Buried in Portales, New Mexico.
They had the following children:
i. Zolla-Vee. Born on 18 Dec 1911 in Blackwell, Coke County, Texas. Zolla-Vee died on 8 Sep 1978; she was 66.
ii. Zella Mae. Born on 26 Mar 1913 in Blackwell, Coke County, Texas. Zella Mae died in Artesia, Eddy County, New Mexico., on 11 Dec 1994; she was 81.
Zella Mae married Alex Raymond PENNINGTON.

vii. Julia Louise. Born on 12 Sep 1930 in Artesia, Eddy County, New Mexico. Julia Louise died on 9 Apr 1974; she was 43.
Julia Louise married Roy Winfred THOMAS.
viii. Bonnie Elma. Born on 6 Jun 1934 in Weed, Otero County, New Mexico. Bonnie Elma died on 27 Jan 1951; she was 16.
