Henry David GOLLIHER was born August 11, 1850 in Missouri and died April 21, 1881 in Woodstock Township, Schuyler County, Illinois. He married Solena Elvira ADAMS on August 06, 1876 in Schuyler County, Illinois. Solena Elvira ADAMS was born June 24, 1850 in Schuyler County, Illinois (9 miles south of Rushville, IL.) and was the daughter of Buford and Elizabeth BLACK ADAMS. Solena died January 16, 1931 in Cooperstown, Brown Co IL. She had two known children by Henry David GOLLIHER: 1) Buford Adam (nickname Mac) born March 28, 1877 in Schuyler County, Illinois and died October 28, 1940 in Quincy, Adams Co IL. He married Elva Jane RANSOM on December 15, 1898.; 2) William James born August 01, 1880 in Schuyler Co IL. and died February 14, 1965 in Rushville, Schuyler Co., IL. He married Phoebe Catherine SPOONAMORE on February 04, 1904.
After the death of Henry David GOLLIHER his widow married John D. BLACK on May 17, 1883. He was born April 09, 1859 in Littleton, Schuyler County, Illinois. He was the son of John Logan and Angeline PECKENPAUGH BLACK. He died April 04, 1943 in Beardstown, Cass Co IL. Children born to John D. and Solena Elvira ADAMS GOLLIHER BLACK were: 1) Lena Opal born 1884; 2) Elizabeth Angeline born August 27, 1888 in Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois and died January 31, 1971 in Beardstown, Cass Co IL. She married Charles Everett WARDELL on April 21, 1909. He was the son of William and Judith INGLES WARDELL.; 3) George Floyd born May 23, 1892 in Schuyler County, Illinois and died November 05, 1951. He married Stella Vaden RANSOM.
