Name of Cemetery for Emarintha Young Golightly
John Golightly 3/12/10
I'm at work now so don't have the details available, but I did find her obit or newspaper announcement some years ago and it stated she was buried at Crisp (near Garrett).I'd been to the Crisp cemetery but found no traces of her, but then again a lot of stones were broken, missing, and vandalized.
From what I remember of the wording of the article at the time, it's also possible she may have been buried at her home.
PS - I spent many years trying to prove/disprove her supposed Indian ancestry and found no evidence one way or the other, (despite what has been posted on the Internet).
