I am searching for more info on the GOLDSTRAW surname.
My ggrandmother was called
Jane Ann GOLDSTRAW born 1865 at Manchester Englandand married 1883 to an Isaac VALENTINE She had a brother called
John born 1858 at Manchester and their
father was named John Goldstraw born 1828 at Ferny Hill or Fyrney Hill Stafford
according to the 1881 census John b 1828 was a widow and occupation was a striker at irons works (but unemployed at the time son John was an Ironworker and Jane a Silk weaver their address at the time of the census was 5 Pimlott Street Hulme Mnachester England. I would appreciate any info you have that may assist me in getting that little bit further
