As for the name Goostrey, I have not done alot of work on it, but for 22 years have done work on the Goostree spelling! This happen to be my maiden surname. So far I have
found that all the spellings' equal kinship
to each other, I had an aunt who spelled her
last name Gostre, I have two brothers by surname Goosetree, because their wifes' did
not know correct way for us!
So as far, as I can tell, it's Goostree.
But most Goldstraw, ,Goostrey, Goostree, we are all "kinfolks" as my grandfather would say!
