My Great Grandfather, Louis Goldsmith of Bavaria, was the founder of a company called Marks, Goldsmith & co. He ran the manufacturing end of the company in Baltimore in the late 1800s. The company had stores in the Western U.S. including a main store in Ogden, Utah. I am searching for information about Louis and his roots in Bavaria. Please respond if you have any.
