Earl - I am really not sure who "Doc" Goldsberry might be, but I do have a branch of the Goldsberrys that is associated with Holgate, Henry County, Ohio. After reviewing that branch of the family, my best guess would be that "Doc" is Morey Sherman Goldsberry, born 21 November 1865 in Clinton County, Ohio, son of Richard R. Goldsberry and Mary Ann Pearson. Morey died 4 August 1944 in Pleasant Township, Henry County, Ohio, and he is buried in the North Mt. Zion Cemetery in Putnam County, Ohio. Morey's first marriage was to Barbara Elizabeth MacIntyre, and they had at least six children. Morey is said to have married second someone named "Carey," and they are believed to have had two children, Irene and Walter. Might Morey's second wife, Carey, be your great-aunt, Carrie Osborn? (Morey Sherman Goldsberry and his first family can be found in the 1900 and 1910 federal censuses for Pleasant Township, Henry County, Ohio, which is where Holgate is located.) - Eric
