Thanks for the tip. I hadn't heard of this book. It is interesting because my husband's Davis, Reeder, and Attaway lines were all from St. Mary's County and Charles County, Maryland. The Davis line then went to Virginia's Fairfax County. They bypassed Kentucky, however, with 3 going to Greene County, Alabama and 4 coming to Callaway County, Missouri.
Bennett Goldsberry by the way was a soldier in the War of 1812. He came eventually to Pike County, Missouri and lived at Haw Creek. His son John B. had a woolen mill in Frankford for a time. Bennett's widow, Lois, married William White Waddell. We know where John B. and family is buried. Also Lois and Mr. Waddell, but don't have a clue where Bennett is buried or his daughter, Nancy (my husband's great-great grandmother). I can't even find a death date for Nancy Ann Goldsberry Pickett.
