Hello, My name is MonaLisa Goldsberry. I am a descendant from the Gideon Goldsberry line from Dolphin, Va. (Brunswick County). Gideon Goldsberry (1784-12/2/1867) was not of African-American descendant, but I am. Gideon Goldsberry was a owner of slaves. I have three generations of information involving Gideon Goldsberry's wives and children (White descent). Dwelling areas are from Virginia to New York. I recieved a call some time ago in 2002 from a Goldsberry living in Colorado informing me of a Reunion. I wasn't able to attend. Since that time, my family and I have become interested in learning of our roots. If there is any information anyone can share, please contact me per this forum/email.
