This is a new search for me so I don't have much info to go on. I'm looking for family of William Goldsberry, b 4 Mar 1902, died 1973 in Council Bluffs, IA. He married Lillian Smith b 13 Apr 1909 d 2 Sep 1987, both those events in Council Bluffs.
I believe William's father to be William Arzie Goldsberry b 1880 in IA who married Helen ? b 1885 in IA. William Arzie and Helen had 4 children that I know of, William (above), Arthur b 1905, Fern b 1906 and Donald b 1908.
I believe William Arzie Goldsberry was the son of Francis M. or Frank Goldsberry b about 1853 in IA. I found Frank M. in the following censuses:
1900 census Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, IA
Goldsberry, Frank 48, b IA, May 1852 - married 20 years
Josie 43, b Norway, Jan 1857 - married 20 years mother of 0 children (probably a 2nd wife, but why does census show married 20 years?)
Frank 20, b IA, Jan 1880
1910 census Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, IA
Goldsberry, Francis Marion 57, b IA both parents b OH, 2nd marriage for 9 years
Josie 56 1st marriage, b Norway
1920 census Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, IA
Goldsberry, Frank, 67, b IA both parents b IA
Josie, 59 b Norway, naturalized
1930 census Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, IA, living on Ave A
Goldsberry, Frank M. 77, widowed, b IA both parents b IA
