Thanks you, Thomas.I do recall my Grandmother mentioning the name she pronounced Flu-ellen,but it could have been that Southern accent.I had not thought about that name for a long time, but I will ask around. We still have a few 'older folk' around yet My grandmother first married a Fuller who lived in the neighborhood where the Golding family lived. Then she married a Chase - both being related to the Golding family. Then, too, the Smith and Ferguson family are also related to the Golding family, through marriage. Many (Golding) are buried in Spartanburg County in a small town called Cross Anchor, S.C. which is between my home and Spartanburg, S.C.I thought I'd wander around next spring and find some of the gravesites I've seen mentioned which are not too far away, one in Woodruff, S.C. which is only a short distance from Clinton. We also have a very knowledgeable woman in the Laurens Cty Library who keeps a world of knowledge in her head, so I will check with her. She's a real jewel. Will get back with you should I find anything worthwhile. Lib
