My ggggrandmother Sally Golden (Abt 1780 - ) married to William Loman
(1775 - Abt 1817) on August 28, 1800 in Madison County, Kentucky. The
marriage contract was signed Sally Golden. The fathers permission was
signed Ealory/Easley? Golding. She later married Jeremiah Adams on
April 8, 1822 in Madison County, Kentucky. These 2 marriages are well
documented. There is some thought that she may have married an Unknown
Rose, prior to 1800, but I find that hard to accept, in that her father
had to give permission for her to marry William Loman.
In the same year in Madison County, Kentucky a Polly Golden married
Charles Payne on March 4, 1800. I imagine that this may be a sister.
I have hit a brick wall on the Golden/Goldings at this point, both
father and daughter/s. Hopefully you may have some information on the
branch of this family that may help me.
If I have anything you would like, such as descendents of this Sally
Golden, I will be glad to share it with you.
