I don't think we are related but who knows.
I am also from NZ and have a comprehensive listing of some Golder's within NZ. My ggggrandfather was a William Golder who came to NZ from Scotland in 1839 and arrived in Petone, Wellington in 1840 on the "Bengal Merchant".
Our family ancestry is from Scotland and I have traced it back to 1749.
