Greetings from New Zealand,

I am a very new family tree hunter.
My maiden name was Golder, My father is John Richard Golder,
His father was William Golder, and his father and or grandfather was Henry/ Harry Golder. Born1867?

I believe that Henry or Harry Golder was a police officer in the early days of Dunedin New Zealand, and that he or his parents would have emigrated from England.

I think Henry?Harry's wife was Agnes Howieson or Hawieson Born 1871?

Any clues or suggestions for where to start on the genealogical journey would be greatly appreciated.
