I am researching Golds from this area of Scotland. Would you know if William Gold would have been a son of James Gold and Mary Laird. He does not show up in the parish birth records, but in 1819 William Gold married Isabel Low at St. Vigeans parish. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
