Have just rejoined the forum after a long absence. Have noted that there are two Georgina Logan Gold names being discussed. Both born about the same time in Lanarkshire. This Georgina Logan Gold (Have no idea where the Logan names comes from)is most probably the daughter of Hugh Gold and Mary McCallum as the other Georgina (daughter of William Smillie Frame Gold) married a chap called William Barnes. Their grandparents were James Gold and Janet Frame.
I am descended from William Smillie Frame and Janet Frame their great grandparents who married in Hamilton, LKS on 5th October, 1834.
If anyone has the Death Cert. of Janet Frame, I would love to know what is recorded on it and when she died (post 1896).
William Smellie Frame and Janet King had 4 children on the 1841census of Hamilton. William, Janet, Margaret and John. I have no idea where William got to. Margaret married William Dalziel in Hamilton (there are two couples with same name married in same area but the names of their children carry the family names). John married Marion Wilson in Liverpool, Lancashire, the latter being my gg grandparents. Heather
