Robert Ripley and John C. Hayes(JC Hays)can be found in Lincoln County, MS census from 1900 to 1930's. I have been trying to find them in previous census records with their father, Robert Winfred Hayes, from St Helena Parish, LA. They both claim to have been born in LA around 1879. I know John's mother was CC Goins(goings, Goynes)because she is named on his SS records. There are marriage records in Louisiana database of Robert W. and CC Goings. Robert W(father)is the son of Parker Hays and Eliza Redmond. He can be found in the 1860 Census in St Helena Parish at 6 years old with sister Palmyra(Almira) but I haven't found him in any census's after until the records of Educatable Children in Lincoln County, MS. I am the daughter of John Carter Hayes s/o William W Hayes, MS. Please contact me if you are related.
