Charles Goheen, 1830's

I am looking for information on a Charles Goheen. My husband's 2nd great grandfather, Joseph Goheen, was born in 1854 in Greene County, IL. In the 1855 census of Greene County there is a Charles Goheen as the father. No mother is listed. By 1860 no listing for a Goheen in Greene County. In 1878, Joseph amrried Jeanette Light in Macoupin County, Illinois. They had six chilren, 5 boys and 1 girl. They later divorced and Jospeh died in 1909 in Cook County, IL. Does anyone have a Charles Goheen in that time line? I have hit a brick wall that must be reinforced with concrete pillars. Joseph also had some siblings, one being a Lydia. Thanks for ANY help and information, Julie
