Thank you Shirley,
Sorry about the author confusion, the book arrived today and it is handsome to look at, perhaps the contact for author are in the box it came in?

I am working on my regicide ancestor and a friend who's ancestor was
Gregory Clement, someone Mark Twain referred to as an ancestor but I
can't find any exact family connection.

I think it is interesting that a few descendants are around seeking to find more information.
Charles I was also my distant cousin, we shared James IV as common ancestor, but different mother's.

Would you pass on my kindest regards to the author(s) your cousins.
And I am wondering if they have found any Axtell tid bits in their research,
he was one of 10 brutally executed in Oct 1660 for his roll in commanding
the guards during the Kings beheading. If you hear of anything you can write
me at the address below.

yours,
David
