Eric, thank you for responding, we have abt. the same data with a couple of exceptions. One the Trent researchers have William(#1) md. to Urusala BRANCH of VA, his WILL was probated in Henrico Co., VA on 4-7-1769 so we know he had to die before then, and it was wrote on 10-17-1768 so those are the guidelines since we don't have a firm day! It is believed that his son, William(#2) who some in researching have discovered items that seem to call him "Williamson#1" was born some time bwt. 1715 & 1720. And he died some time bwt. 1803 and 1810, maybe as late as 1820? I believe he died in Claiborne Co., TN and is buried in an unmarked or field stone marked grave in the graveyard at Big Springs Primitive Baptist Church near New Tazewell. I have been there and this church has records of them (Trents) from 1799- to 1805, then the Trents disappear and we believe reappear in KY. THIS Trent was md. to S arah or Susannah Bryant of VA, she was also called "Sary" and was born in either Goochland or Bedford Co., VA. Their son William(#3) and who some called "Williamson#2 was born ca. 1770-1775 and died on 3-24-1845 in Manito, Mason Co., ILL and is supposely buried in Mason Co., ILL. Before that he was in Barren Co., KY and Menard Co., ILL and since some time over the Miss. River in Des Monies Co., IA where he also married a granddaug. THEN he apparently came back to ILL, live some and died. WE TRENT's carry his wife as a Nancy POTTS from either some where in Southside VA, perhaps Campbell or Bedford counties or from a family in a county nearer the Trent homelands. Some believe that his wife came from the POTTS family that lived in SWVA, probably in areas then named Russell Co., VA. She was born ca.1772 and died after 1850, she was living with her daug. Rebecca (Trent) Bell in Menard Co., ILL when she did die and so is buried in Menard Co., ILL. She was said to have been 78 yrs. old when she died. She like William(#2) was a former member of the Little Barren Baptist Church in Barren Co., KY and a member of Clary's Grove Baptist Church in Sangamon Co., ILL. They (the Trents) have some interactions with Abe Lincoln and his General Store in New Salem, ILL and you can find some of that info and photos on the New Salem State Park Web Site. That part is not too glorious! We have a difference in Parthenia in that I have her dying on 7-30-1888. She was born on 5-27-1805 in TN and was 83 when she died, so we pretty much match there. She did marry a Jefferson ORR but I have him from either TN or KY, since they were md. on5-8-1826 in Greene Co., KY. She was 21 yrs. old, so he would be roughly 23. I have no uplines (children or onward for them) and so if you would be willing to share that here (up to you) or send it to my home addy by clicking on my name, I would like to add them into my document. Thanks again for the contact and you might want to explore some of my and other postings on the Trent Forum. Notify Administrator about this message?
