Hello all,

I am Robin Hommerbocker and have only just found your forum here. I have much info on the Goeglein/Geogline families that came to America from Oppau, Germany in the 1830s, settling first in Meigs County, Ohio and then the family of Daniel moved on to Ft Wayne, Indiana area and other parts of the US.

My direct line is that of Daniel's brother Johannes (John) who came first to Meigs County in 1836 and Daniel followed in 1838. Johannes' line stayed pretty much in Meigs County area and there aren't many of them left. I haven't been in personal contact with any of you and would love to hear from you. Robin seems to have a lot of data and I would love to know where she fits in. Marilyn - your Philip is buried on Johannes Goeglein's land which is the Goeglein cemetery in Pomeroy, OHio and I MIGHT have pictures of the headstones somewhere for Lucy, Philip and Kathryn as well as I believe their parents. Please let me hear from you all. RHommer356@aol.com or RHommer@gateway.net.

Later Cuz'ns,

Robin
