The Meigs County Pioneer & Historical Society is preparing a new history on the county and its families. You may send a story of 500 words plus a picture free. The descendants of the Meigs County family do not have to be from the county, too. Send your story by Sep. 30 to P.O. Box 145, Pomeroy, OH 45769. By the way, the name is pronounced "gig-line" in Meigs County.
