Know all men by these presents that I relinquished my claim or right to bay horse colt out of bay mare Sis owned by Emma Goe and agree to recognise her claim thereunto.
I sold this colt to pay for expenses of keeping under the rules whereby she and the other children kept their stock here: She being dissatisfied and complaint was made, trouble came of it and I afterwards bought him back for her:
June 11th 1882
And now be it known that for one dollar in hand and for a good and valuable consideration which I hereby receipt: I this day deliver unto Emma Goe the bay horse colt called Sam. I further relinquish all right of claim unto hiim: I hereby convey confirm unto her full right power to barter, exchange, convey confirm deliver as she deems best. And I now grant confirm unto said Emma Goe full right title to hold convey and remove.
