Seeking any and all information to BEGIN !
My family is from Lake City SC, Williamsburg County. My mother was Edna Godwin. Her father Samuel Thaddeus Godwin. Her mother Burdette Huggins. That is all I have, but have heard that the Godwins may originally come from VA. They have been in SC for many generations. Before that? Have been told the HUGGINS were from the Charleston area and before that? Anything appreciated. mensplace@bellsouth.net
