I have info on the descendants of this couple, but no names for their parents. Census records show that Emma Jane Godwin's parents were from NC, and Joseph Grimsley's parents were from GA.
My Emma Jane Godwin b 1858 in AL was married to Joseph F Grimsley b 1849 in GA. They lived in AL and had these children:
