Hi John, my great-grandmother (Juanita Ramirez) was from Mexico, she married (early 1900's) an american named Walter Godkin in an area called San Luis Potosi, Mexico.. During the Mexican revolution they were chased out of Mexico about 1916-1917 and settled in Texas in a an area known as Pipe Creek (outside of San Antonio). My great-grandmother had a daughter from a previous marriage (my grandmother), and with her new husband (Walter Godkin) they had several other children (among them were Pat, Charles, Leo and I think some others).. Pat Godkin died a few years ago I believe Charles and Leo are still living, I'm not sure where possibly done around the Zapata, Texas area?? I'm not sure if Walter Godkin had any brothers, his death certificate shows he was born in Kansas City, Missouri and his father was William D. Godkin born in Quebec, Canada. His mother was Pauline Adele Carter born in Mobile Missouri. If any of this sounds familiar, or if you need any other info send me an email.. Al
