In the census of 1900, there were two entries.Louella claimed she had eight children, of whom seven were living. I assume that Harold was that child. Mernie was my grandmother. Her name was Myrna. She was married to William Becker in 1898 (who spelled it Baker - Maybe to be more American than German as his father did for awhile - Becker in German means Baker,}In 1900 Elizabeth Godkin is listed as their border. She was usually called Lib.
In 1920 Luella registers as the wife of Albert Weilald (a name I remember as Whelan) of North Rose, N.Y. Elizabeth Godkin, age 23 widowed and her 3+ year old son Valentine are there listed as the stepdaughter and stepgrandson of Albert. Wondering if she was the wife of Ward?Incidentally, Mern gave birth to my father Harold in August of 1899.
