Charles Godfrey was born around 1846 in Street, Somerset. His mother was Anna Godfrey. She later married Charles Fowles (so he was possibly the father). I can find Charles in the 1861 census and then he disappears. We think he might have immigrated to Canada, USA, South Africa or Australia. He might have travelled with his half brother Alexander Fowles / Vowles & his wife Charlotte Witcombe as they all disappear after the 1861 census. Does anyone know of their whereabouts or descendants?
