Hello Brenda,
Was he Union or Confederate? I have a list around here someplace of 100+ Godby`s, Godbey`s that were in the Civil War. (A lot of names are repeated with different spellings)I am always trying to find any information on any of the Godby`s (Godbey`s), copy of any photos of anyone that served. Would you by chance have any kind of photos??
