I also have William Godby in Alabama in 1850, son of Henry and Louisa Godby in Franklin County, Alabama. Henry and Louisa are my GGGrandparents through Isom Miles Godbey,son of Calvin.It shows William to be 8 on 1850 census that I got from Franklin Co. Alabama. I need to confirm link between Georgia Godbeys and the Alabama Godbees/Godbeys. Any info will be appreciated.
