I typed in my last name on a search just to see what happened and this web site came up. I was amazed to see so many Godby's and several from the area where my family is from.

My parents divorced when I was still young and my father died a few years later. I have never really known that side of my family.

My father's name was Elwen H. Godby. He was one of several (10-12) children. I believe I have an uncle named Duel and another named Noel but I am digging deep into my memory for that.
