That is correct. As to John Rollo he is shown in Sumpter County, SC in the 1820 census and that is the only census he appears on in SC. He is on the 1830 Alabama census. Ancestry.com shows that no Godbold was ever listed on a Sumpter County census and the first Godbold that shows up on a Marlboro County census is in 1870. Below is the info I have on Jesse Godbold:
