My info isn't from Mrs. Hand's book, but it does come
from her DAR application.

Robert Hand (b. 1806 Sussex Co, NJ, d. 1854 Wayne Co, PA)
married in 1827
Susannah Goble (b. May 1811 Sussex Co, d. Sept 1891 Scranton, PA)

Susannah is dau. of Nathan Goble & Azubah Price.
Nathan is son of Mathias Goble (the Revolutionary War Patriot) and Rachel Roy.
