GOBIN - Ellen Mary Gobin of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, August 7, 1999 at the age of 89 years. Ellen was born on December 30, 1909 in San Fernando, Trinidad, West Indies, and has resided in Calgary for the past 29 years. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Russel and Judy Lee Pack, and a daughter and son in law, Myrtle and Knolly Mohamed, all of Calgary. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Wendy 7 Hugh Gibbs of Trinidad, Natalie and Matt Taylor, Nicole and Travis Bowles, Nikolai Lexington, Andre Lee Pack, Abigail Mohamed, and Petula Lee Pack, and 8 great grandchildren, Anthony, Daniel, Jessica, Michael, Damian, Marcus, Shavaughna, and Aidan. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends, who loved her dearly. Ellen was predeceased by her son Terrance Lee Pack. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, 321 - 90 Ave. SE, on Thursday, Aug 12, 1999 at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia's on Friday, Aug. 13, 1999 at 10:30 am. In living memory of Ellen Gobin, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, "Park Memorial Chapel", 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary
