What was your great grandfather's name? My great-grandmother was also a Gobel - Melva was her name, I believe her father was Trueman Goble. Have not date of birth for Melva but Trueman was born in 1823. My great-grandfather's name was Douglas H. Millar. If this helps let me know, we may have some common relatives.
