I am looking for connections to my g grandfather John Gobel (d. at age 40 in Carter Co., KY) who married Minnie Zornes (b. abt 1872, d. 11/30/1932 in Floyd Co., KY). Their children are: Tommy, Mary, George, Albert, Clyde, Roy, Orin, Watts, and Omer. Family lore states that the family was among the first KY settlers, and was related to or descendend from the Ephram Gobel that signed the first land deed under the newly formed Carter Co. (was Greenup Co.). Looking for KY Gobel researchers to trade info. Thanks!
