Cindy -

In the 1880s and 1890s, 10 or more Absire babues were born in Warrick of more than a half dozen Abshire couples. Mothers had surnames of Knapp, Otto, Baker, Crow, Floyd, Reed, Blackford ; another given name Saphrona (Saphronia ?). Fathers were Joe, James, Alpha, Alford, Henry, William. Most babies not named but Edwin, Claud, John were three.

Any of these yours ?
