I am confident that Dorothy was born in 1914 because her age was consistent over the years:
1 - 1915 Kansas State Census
6 - 1920 Federal census
16 - 1930 Federal census
Dorothy and Avis apparently had one son:
- Gail Robert Goad d. 8 Apr 1949, Del Norte hospital, only child of Mr. & Mrs. Avis Goad
Avis had four siblings:
- Dora Freda Goad (m. John Whitmer)
- Yvone Marie Goad (1912-1979; m. Alvin Pruter)
- Fontella Ann Goad (1915-1986; m. Gail James Long)
- Artis Thomas Goad (Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO: Goad, Artis T, b. 08/24/1917, d. 10/22/1982, CM2C USN, Plot: S 6056, bur. 10/26/1982)
