I agree that it is unlikely there is another Dorothy LOGAN whose mother's surname was CRONK.
One of which dates is in error? If you mean Dorothy's birth date, her age on the 1920 and 1930 census places her birth about 1914. In addition, she had a younger sister who was born in 1917. That's why I doubt she was the Dorothy Goad in the SSDI.
Do you have an obituary for Avis or know his middle name?
