N.C. son of John Goad born ca 1795 in Virginia, died 1869 in Massaic County, Illinois, age 75. Lived in Williamson County, Tenn in 1830, Hardeman and Tipton later,. Could be the John who married Caty Dalton in 1817 Pittsylvania County, Va. No proof.
