While I agree the intended name may have been Achilles, all documents I've seen report him as Akillis. Guess I would argue that's the "correct" way of listing him, even with the poor spelling.

Yes, the beautiful handwriting - now a lost art - would certainly have made it difficult to decipher an L vs. an S. Just thought I'd let you know about the correct name for the wife of Travis for your records.

Congratulations on your book - what an accomplishment. Obviously you've spent many, MANY more hours doing research than I have.
